Trip to Singapore for the Formula 1 GP - Day Two

I can't remember what time we left the Avalon at Large - GO! but boy was I tired. Couldn't sleep in because the next day, we had tickets to go visit Universal Studios Singapore on Sentosa Island, owned by our very own Genting Group.

So, in order to get to Sentosa Island, we had to take the MRT from VivoCity Shopping Mall, which is the largest shopping mall in Singapore. I got to check out one of the Brotzeit outlets there too...

We took the MRT across and made our way to the entrance of Universal Studios Singapore. Su Ann was telling me how she loves the popcorn store...

Hersheys! Chocolate heaven!

Eh Leo! Cepat lah!

Tickets...

In we go...

First stop, 'Hollywood'.

They even have a Mel's diner here! Lot's of memories of Mel's from those day back in San Francisco...

Rod's...

We decided to go anti-clockwise instead of clockwise. If we went left, we would have entered 'Madagascar' first...

Reason being we wanted to check out the 'Si Fi City' first. Yeap, the guys, including myself, are a bunch of geeks. *laughs*

But before we got there, we'd have to go by 'New York'

Then you'd get to 'Sci Fi City'.

I sooo wanted to go on that!

Look at it!

Alas, it wasn't open. I had to settle for these... *yawn*

Battlestar Galatica ya'll!

Entrance to the blue Cylon ride. Pimp that Cylon at the entrance...

Then we went into the gift shop and I saw this... Number Six! They could have used a hotter mannequin though...

I wouldn't mind if they look like her!

I can't say so but 'frak' that...

So say we all!

Entrance to the red Human ride.

Next up was 'Ancient Egypt'.

The entrance to the Revenge of the Mummy ride. Pretty cool ride. Tania was scared out of her pants!

Check out the picture taken during the ride. Sitting right in the middle, Tania's face is pure fear. *laughs*

Then, we made our way to the 'Lost World'.

The Jurassic Park Rapids Adventure ride.

Comes out with a splash.

We got pretty wet. I was quite dry all the way till the end of the ride, even after the big splash. Then, at the very last minute, I got a cheap shot into my face! One of those dinosaurs spat water right between my eyes!

We were about to move on to 'Far Far Away'...

We almost missed Waterworld.

Ran to catch the last show. It's one of those shows where live actors do all those water stunts with the jet skis and all. Cool...

'Far Far Away'...

The castle is nice huh...

Heard some commotion and it turns out there was a performance at the 'Madagascar' side nearby, so we skipped ahead to check it out.

Shot a clip of it. The penguins are cute.

After that we made our way backwards to finish up 'Far Far Away'.

Back to 'Hollywood'.

We all headed to Mel's for dinner.

Wait a second, self service?! No pumpkin pie?!

After dinner, checking out the view from across the lake. There was a fireworks display before closing but we didn't stay for that.

I was so so tired. Bye bye Universal Studios Singapore...

Not before we raided the Hershey store!

Those are some huge bottles...

That is one huge chocolate bar!

Look at the side of that compared to a 'King Size' bar of chocolate!

The rest went to check out the candy store. I was so tired I fell asleep on one of those sitting areas waiting for them...

We all headed home and were suppose to head out to party again. I was just too tired. Took so bloody long to get a cab back from VivoCity Mall too...

I decided to stay back. Jas, Tania and Su Ann decided to stay in too. We all ordered Mackers' and pigged out before heading to bed... Another lovely day in Singapore.
