The Warung

It's 12.30am, I just got home from yet another long day at work...
I still have work to do and I've to be up at 6.30 in the morning. (-_-)'
I've been so bloody busy lately with work, it's left me time for nothing, not even myself.
I've been helping my brother, Bryan (not to be confused with the Bryan driving the orange monster) set up a Food & Beverage kiosk in Mid Valley recently on top of the other existing businesses I'm helping my mom run. Not an easy task as we have recently gone through restructuring, and I am still awaiting team members to join and help me run those businesses. Until today, I sit in the office, the only one managing them. As the chinese would put it, 'One Leg Kick'. Still, I am learning plenty and quickly. Anyway...
My brother's F&B place is called 'The Warung'.




We cooked up this concept in less than 3 months so I'm pretty proud of what we have accomplished. My mom was the backbone of everything, making sure we pull through every obstacle we encounter. We are blessed as many of my mom's friends are helping without any expectations and the most selfless person I have met is Jo Ann who owns Bread Talk and Memory Lane. She has been helping us as if 'The Warung' were her own, refusing to accept anything. Can't thank her enough. We will be forever in her debt.



The Warung serves good food at great prices, focusing on more traditional Malay food but with a 'kopitiam' twist.





The Warung will be officially open tomorrow, 29th April 2009 at Mid Valley Megamall, Lot F-028C on the First Floor. It's right above Steven's Tea Garden or Toast Box. There is still much to do, none the less, do pop by.



We're still learning the F&B trade so expect hiccups. Still, please come... all support is greatly valued. =)
