Michael Lau epitomizes a rare breed of visionaries able to connect with an audience that has remained loyal over the years. The Gardener figure series by Michael Lau is celebrating its 10th anniversary. He is without question one of this generation's finest toy makers.
His very first Malaysia appearance documents 10 years of Gardeners and celebrates the vision and creativity of Michael Lau. The 'Family Tradition Art Exhibition' will be the first time held in Malaysia and also the first time in South East Asia! Made possible by H5 & Zinc.
Michael Lau, an artist from Hong Kong who is known for his illustration and designer toy figures, such as the his Gardener pieces. His work became so popular it attracted the attention of the Sony corporation, who exclusively distributed a selection of his Gardener pieces in Asia.
Lau worked with the Hong Kong hip-hop group LMF, creating a series of figures based on them too.
