BMW Driver Training

Remember my blog entry 'Clipped'? The one where I was spotted briefly in a clip for the BMW Driver Training - Malaysia?
Well in January of 2007, I was fortunate enough to attend the BMW Driver Training program with my brother, Bryan.

I owe many thanks to my dad who gave us the opportunity to attend it.
That day, the both of us had woke up late and we rushed to Sepang International Circuit just in time to register ourselves. As I was signing up, a couple of familiar faces appeared. Irwan and Ivan Khong, instructors for the day.

For those of you who don't know who Ivan Khong is, he's the son of YS Khong, four time Malaysian rally champion. He's a fantastic driver and has plenty of videos on YouTube. Do a search if you have the time.

It was two participants to a car so Bryan and I jumped in to one. He drove first.

We got car number 4.

First experience.

Lining up for the slalom course. Bryan and I were top 3 fastest times out of all the participants that day, nothing to shout about as majority of them weren't exactly 'racers'.

Bryan and Ivan exchanging a few words.

The participants consists mainly of older people (I guess people who can actually afford a BMW). There was another young bloke besides Bryan and I and he clocked the fastest time for the slalom.

An empty Sepang International Circuit.

So what do you do with an empty circuit? Let them rip!
Here are two clips I took while taxing with Ivan around the track.

Can you say, sideways? *laughs*

About Me

Cars. x Toys. x Life.

So... I'm supposed to write something "About Me". What can I say, it's pretty obvious I have a passion for cars. I love toys, gadgets and games. I enjoy my cartoons and anime (Gawd, I sound like a big geek). I'm living life and taking it as it comes one day at a time...
