Second thoughts...

Today I tried fitting the HKS Kansai Carbon Kevlar engine cover and it wasn't what I expected it to be. Everything bolts on comfortably, it's just the rubber seals from the original covers do not fit. I've decided not to install them as I am afraid of water accidentally getting to the coils or the timing belt and cam gears.

Oh well... I've had them returned and gotten something else instead. Since my stock rotors are vibrating due to what I believe to be warping, I swapped these for a pair of project Mu front rotors.

I have that. Yeah the fit isn't perfect especially after some time. Perhaps its also sensitive to extreme heat you reckon?

Razlan Radzi,
No idea. It's such a put off. I'm so disappointed. With weathers we have here in Malaysia, if you had an aftermarket hood with the vents, water can easily seep through to your coils or cam gears/timing belt area and cause problems. I wouldn't want that happening. The original ones had rubber trimming to insulate and avoids that from happening. Oh well...
