難得糊涂 (Nan De Hu Tu), is an old Chinese proverb by Zheng BanQian. Literary translated it means 'hard to get muddle' (Huh?). It means silliness is golden sometimes. Well, actually in my opinion, I think it means even if you know you're smart or you're right, you will be much happier acting silly or dumb and humble. A quote my mom loved to use while I was growing up.
We all know the current situation with the three big automakers here in the states, General Motors, Chrysler and Ford, teetering on the brink of collapse, begging the Congress for a $25 billion government aid to help them stay afloat in the current economic situation. How their proposal was shot down in flames and how their executives taking private jets to Washington to beg for billions was the final nail in their coffin.
Well, they should really take example from Mr Haruka Nishimatsu, the President and CEO of Japan Airlines (JAL). This clip speaks for itself.
